With over 15 years of dedicated experience in the field of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Girish G stands as a respected academician, skilled surgeon, and mentor. Currently serving as an Associate Professor and Fellowship Guide at the prestigious Sanjay Gandhi Institute of Trauma and Orthopaedics, Bangalore, he has been at the forefront of trauma care and reconstructive facial surgeries in Karnataka.
Dr. Girish completed both his BDS and MDS from M.R. Ambedkar Dental College and Hospital, affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, and has since contributed immensely to dental education and advanced surgical techniques.
He has published over 20 scientific articles, including 6 international publications, and has been a featured speaker at several national and state conferences. His areas of expertise include trauma surgery, soft tissue reconstruction, orthognathic procedures, and complex facial injury management.
Recognized for his contributions in academia, he has played key roles as an exam coordinator, internal examiner, and guest lecturer for advanced training programs. During the COVID-19 crisis, Dr. Girish and his team carried out emergency maxillofacial surgeries across Karnataka when most hospitals were converted into COVID centers, showcasing his unwavering commitment to patient care even in the most challenging circumstances.
